Talking Rubbish Comedy Gala

Penrith Council is hosting a free family arts and comedy festival at the Joan on Sunday 4 June, to celebrate World Environment Day.

The Talking Rubbish Comedy Gala is on from 7pm at the Joan.

As the sun sets, kick back and enjoy the adults-only comedy stylings from some of Australia’s hottest comedians. Tripod will headline the gala and will be joined on stage by a stellar line-up including MC Rhys Nicholson, Luke Heggie and Becky Lucas.

Tickets for the Comedy Gala are free and limited to 2 per person.

Preference will be given to residents of the Penrith, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains areas.

World Environment Sun-day is on before the gala, from 12-4pm at the Mondo greenspace outside the Joan. This is a fun and creative family friendly afternoon with an enviro-focus, along with food trucks and entertainment.

This project is supported by the NSW EPA as part of the Waste Less, Recycle More initiative and funded from the waste levy by Penrith City Council. Both events are presented in cooperation with j9.connect. create. curate.
