Tángalo – The Art of Tango

Full of passion and pain, flirtation and fire

TANGALO – The Art of Tango

‘Sassy, talented, and oh so hot right now’ – Made in Argentina Festival

13 September at 3pm

Full of passion and pain, flirtation and fire, nostalgia and nonsense, Tango is the music of emotion, of experience, of sophistication and of the people.

Tángalo, Australia’s premiere Tango ensemble was forged of a fierce desire to inspire and revitalise a live Tango music and dance culture in Australia.

With the accompaniment of exquisite Argentine tango dancers onstage, Tánaglo will take audiences on a journey from the barrios of Buenos Aires to the concert-halls and nightclubs of high-society.

Expect to be transported by an intoxicating blend of violin, guitar, double bass, flute, accordion, piano and voice, creating a sound that is beguiling and vividly personal. Tángalo’s dazzling instrumental lines and impassioned vocals reference the poetic background of tango music with a modern infusion.
